We are asking the Christian community in the Grand Junction area to join hands with us in order to facilitate and perpetuate Freedom House Ministries. We will continue to need your help to be able to help those who met Jesus in prison to grow after their release.There are three ways to get involved. |

| Be A Voice - |
| One is to be an advocate for change, by getting the word out about our ministry and ministries like us. And by praying for each man and woman who has given their life to the Lord, and desires to learn to live by biblical principles the rest of their lives. |

| Be A Hand - |
| If you live in the Grand Junction area, we need volunteers to help assist us in our work with these men. We need men who can learn to be a mentor individually to a resident. We need in-kind donations of food, clean men's clothing, toiletry items, furniture, vans, building materials and shoes. We need skilled volunteers to help train these men for employment, to help us build and expand our facilities, and to meet our daily needs. | Be A Foot - |
| Oftentimes, it is difficult to give much more than money. But by your tax deductible donation, we will be able to continue to implement the programs which help to transform these men?fs lives from the cycle of recidivism to a future and a hope in Christ Jesus. God is in the business of saving lives, and it is a privilege to be a part of it anyway we can. |

| Why Help ? |
|
 In Colorado, 75% of inmates will be released within 5 years.
Of those released, 78% will re-offend within 3 years.
In stark contrast, LESS THAN 7% of programs like Freedom House Ministries graduates have re-offended.
It is generally accepted that it costs the taxpayer $30,000 per year to house one inmate.
It is projected that programs like Freedom House Ministries have saved the Colorado taxpayer as much as $4.8 million in housing for inmates over a five year period ending in 2002, not including the cost of medical and other services.
Most importantly, those who come through our program are able to persevere in their walk with the Lord.
