The Freedom House Ministries is a short term Christian living center. We provide a Christ-centered, home-like setting in which those in need make a successful transition from prison to life as productive citizens and men of faith.

This ministry is a community effort that involves churches, leaders, elected officials, and every Saint who cares to become involved.

Many Christian organizations minister to the prison community, including Prison Fellowship and the Kairos Prison Ministry. These ministries believe that it is only a change of heart (toward Christ) that can bring about permanently changed life-styles. However, even among those who find Christ in prison, there is a tendency to slide back into their old ways when they are released and find themselves in the "old neighborhood" without a constructive support system.
